Listen! Winter is already here and it’s getting chillier and chillier day after day! Soon your skin will start feeling drier and dull, your lips will start chapping, your nose will get drier and could start bleeding! With the west going into the winter blizzard, it’s expected that the months forward are going to be colder this year as compared to what we have previously experienced! So, if you haven’t already equipped yourself to fight the winter blues, then it’s high time you do that now! Scroll down to find out what’s missing from your winter essentials 2023 list and quickly restock for a cozy and happy winter!
Face Moisturiser
It’s no Brainer that you need face moisturiser! The single best thing you could do this winter season to maintain the glow on your face is to invest in a good moisturiser! It doesn’t matter if you don’t layer your face with expensive serums, at least invest in a good moisturiser to maintain the sanity of your skin! This face moisturiser by minimalist is the best one I have used yet! It contains 3% sepicalm, squalane, amino acids and oats extracts.
Woollen Socks
Don’t freeze to death while you are asleep! Do yourself a favour and buy some woollen socks so you can cozy up and sleep comfortably no matter how chilly it gets! Well you may need a quilt but that’s secondary! First you need socks! It’s a must have on your winter essentials list!
Body lotion
Your face is not the only part of your body that’s covered with skin! That’s why you need body lotion or body butter! To keep your skin from drying and scaling, apply the moisturiser right after you bathe, while your skin is still a little wet. This will help your skin lock the moisture for long! This body lotion from St. D’Venće is made of shea butter and tea tree oil.
Humidifier
If you are someone with extremely dry skin and often suffer from nose bleeding during the winter season then you must invest in a humidifier. The cracks in the nasal skin which causes bleeding are often the result of breathing in dry air. Invest in a good humidifier and you’ll see a drastic change in how your skin feels!
Lip Butter
Everybody complains of chapped lips during winter. This is a common problem and thankfully we have a common solution! Use a lip balm or a Lip butter to prevent your lips from chapping. Also please stop licking your lips to moisten them, you are only making it worse. Instead use a lip butter to moisturise your lips and keep them plum and intact! This is without a doubt a winter essential.
Hand Warmer
I am someone whose extremities (meaning my hands, nose, feets and ears) are usually colder than the rest of my body and it’s one of the most uncomfortable thing to experience. And if you are like me then investing in some winter basics like hand warmers, ear muffs and socks is an absolute must. There’s no way around it. Make sure you pick ones that go with your outfits so you don’t look tacky!
Fleece Leggings
This viral leggings can save you from freezing outside as they are made of fleece. You can wear them just as (of course in a different colour) or layer your favourite bottoms and skirts over it! Either way they are going to look great!
Boots
You obviously need boots for winter! Especially if you are from a place where it snows. You cannot pass on these. I have written a complete guide on where you can buy amazing boots in India. Read here >
