POETRY
Ever since I was little, I’ve found it hard to express my feelings. What came to my rescue at 14 was poetry! I began to write poems and soon they became my healing ground. It turned out that writing was the perfect way for me to deal with my emotions. Here however is a collection of my poetry, ‘Words of Solace’ that came after a period of long emotional dormancy as a result of cycles of traumatic experiences. They are born from a place of healing and explore the concepts of love, hope and dreams. I hope they offer you the same tender comfort they continue to offer me.
