Let’s talk old-money aesthetic workwear today that’s appropriate for the coming winter, shall we? The old-money aesthetic is one of my personal favourites of all time. The sheer finesse, elegance and clean look make it one of a kind and something that has stood the test of time! It’s a classic that would make the heads turn. So today’s look is all about that! It’s chic, classy, elegant and modest! Let’s call this the nineteen-ninety-five look (basically, because I was born in nineteen ninety-five! Hehehe)

So for this look, I obviously picked up the most chic-looking black mini-skirt I had in my wardrobe! Basically, because I was trying to build an outfit around the fleece stockings and sheer black stockings I was sent to style by one of the brands! So I obviously had to pick a mini-skirt but you don’t have to if you are not comfortable! Trade this look with a longer, more comfortable pencil skirt, a mermaid skirt or even a straight skirt! You can totally improvise it to fit your liking!

So, once I was through with the skirt and the stockings I obviously had to come up with the right top for the outfit, since winter is just around the corner, I picked this brown acrylic sweater that’s simple, easy and chic! But I obviously just didn’t want to wear it with the sweater! I wanted this outfit to look a little more Romantic and as we discussed before old money! So I added a fake collar which is also known as a Dickey! But since I wanted it to look romantic to capture the essence of the autumn, I went with an embroidered Dickey instead of a normal one! You can easily find them on Amazon! I have linked a few down for you!

Once I felt the outfit was slightly coming together, I decided to go with some classic black pumps, a black bag and a pair of hoop earrings to complete the entire look! You can also trade the pumps for Black ballerinas if you are not comfortable with heels! Mix and match and make it your own! After all, fashion is all about doing what is right for us creatively.

So that was it about this classy, elegant, slightly fancy old-money office look that I like to call the nineteen ninety-five look! I hope you enjoyed this look and would try it for yourself (don’t forget to tag me if you do!) I will see you again with yet another classy and fancy look but until then stay healthy and stay stylish!
