If I could wear these dresses every single day for the rest of my life then I would happily do that! Because I love these dresses to the moon and back. The elegance, Grace and confidence they bring out in me are insane! I know a lot of people don’t really give a lot of importance to what they wear. Some might even see people into fashion as shallow beings but I believe, firmly, that this mindset can only come from someone who really has never experienced the transformative energy fashion brings in people.

The right outfit can take your confidence from zero to a hundred really quickly. People don’t just say dress the part for nothing! When you dress the part you get the part. Period! And in today’s blog post, I have bought you three such dresses from Newme Asia that I have personally hand-picked from their collection!

Dress One – THE ICON

The first dress I have for you is an olive green, one-shouldered long bodycon with feather borders! Now, why do I call this ‘The Icon’? Because that is how I felt when I wore this dress! I felt like a celebrity heading out to a major event. This perfectly cut-out dress honours the curves of the body and lays on it like it’s custom-made! The feathered edges adds the needed drama to make it an iconic dress, one that is made for iconic ladies!

I combined this dress with some classic silver jewellery with stones to add a bit of finesse and make it more elegant and classy! Although I added a classic stud, you can always trade them for dangling, shiny earrings to add a little more statement. I also combined them with a silver embellished purse and a sliver open heels for an overall cohesive look. But the look wasn’t complete yet! In fact it wouldn’t be complete until we pick the right hairstyle! You see, a lot of actually think a dress can fix everything. But that’s only half-truth. An outfit is made by the details that goes into it! And that’s why hair is just as important as your dress. I went for a classic bun with hair stick that I usually wear (click here for the tutorial) and the look was complete.

  • Messy updo
  • High bun

Dress Two – THE GRACE

I think this dress is the literal definition of Grace! If you like wearing long bodycon but not the ones that hug the body too tight but rather hang on it perfectly and gracefully, then, this is the dress for you! It’s pleated to perfection, long enough to add a lot of grace and finesse and is also modest! I have combined this dress with classic golden hoops, some chunky rings and a bracelet like I normally do. But to add that extra statement that one looks in a dress, I have paired this dress with an armlet which adds it a lot of character. I combined it with a rose-gold clutch because I couldn’t really find a golden clutch that I liked but yeah, if you can find that perfect bag don’t hesitate!

Dress Three – THE SHOW STOPPER

Out of all the three dresses, if I had to pick one it would definitely be this one! That’s the reason I call this dress the show stopper. I have never liked a dress more than this, so, it would be safe to say that I love this dress to the moon & back! Haha. This long beige ribbed bodycon dress with an open back is the closest I have come to finding an absolute bomb of an outfit! It fits like a dream, makes my skin look radiant, and adds a certain glow that I can’t even explain! My confidence is off the chart when I wear this.

For this dress, I chose to go with rose gold and black jewellery to add a little bit of contrast to the outfit. I also picked my black pumps to add some sophistication and length to the dress. I would always recommend you go with some heels (preferably stilletoes) when wearing long bodycon dresses as it adds to the structure of the dress and the distance between the ankles and that floor adds to the aesthetic of the outfit!
