What is that one outfit in your wardrobe that you can wear over and over again without getting bored? For me, it’s definitely this leopard print top that is as old as the London Bridge! Well, not as old as the London Bridge, but you get the point! I bought this leopard print top in 2019 and I have worn it since. (Yes, I am a proud outfit repeater with a washing machine.) Neither does it seem to get old nor does it go out of fashion. But lately, I had forgotten that it actually existed in my wardrobe! However, the recent news about a leopard entering an apartment complex in Bangalore made me think of this iconic top. And I obviously wanted to share a look around it! So I thought of creating an elegant and extremely alluring outfit that I like to call, ‘The Town Leopard’.
So, this look ‘The Town Leopard’ is all about being modest, elegant and delegate-like! If you have been following me for a while, then you should know already that I am obsessed with classy and elegant fashion that is wearable and makes a statement. I mean where ever you go, the heads need to turn! And this outfit is just that. This leopard print, long-sleeve, mock neck, fitting top is a balance between edginess and elegance! Apart from the leopard print, you can also experiment with black zebra print and black and white leopard print. Both of these are super elegant and not too overpowering! You can try the snake print too, but I am not the biggest fan of reptiles, so I will pass on it but if you like it then give it a try!
Although my usual style would be to pair this leopard print with a good Tregging or blue denim, I thought why not gear it up a little and make it more elegant and fine? That’s exactly why I have paired it with this black, knitted wool, mermaid skirt that is just the perfect option for the winter! To tell you the truth, I am obsessed with this skirt and you will definitely see more of it in the coming weeks! It’s versatile, elegant and the definition of finesse. I love wearing it everywhere! If you want to try a different look then go for black treggings with the print or even black ankle-length cargo, both of them bring out the best of the leopard print!
For jewellery, I picked up the most subtle pair of black and rose gold earrings and rings I have in my jewellery collection. When it comes to jewellery for outfits that are a bit out there, I think it’s best to keep the jewellery minimal. This keeps the attention on the outfit and does not make the outfit too tacky. What it also does is create a perfect balance between the outfit and the accessories! If you don’t have rose gold and black jewellery like mine, consider wearing classic golden hoops with this outfit. It should be just as alluring as this one!
What outfit is complete without a proper bag right? That statement in a look often comes from picking the right bag! And for this outfit, I chose this perfectly unique black bag from Miraggio which adds a lot of finesse and elegance to the over all look! I also believe that is outfit would go extremely well with a black rectangular clutch!
This outfit wouldn’t even be me if I didn’t wear my classic black stilettos! I think at this point it’s my signature, if you see black heels in a video that’s probably me! Haha! Because I wear it so freaking much and I love how versatile they are! They go with so many outfits. If you don’t have one, I definitely think you should get one. This is more of a must-have in every girl’s wardrobe. But if you are not comfortable in heels, then you can always switch up to pointed ballerinas and mules. They have the same sophistication but with a lot of comfort of course.
