The desi girl! This outfit is one of those outfits I have put together that I personally love a lot! It’s carefree, wavy, stylish and so vibrantly desi. I remember wearing this outfit and feeling like, ‘wow I need to go street shopping!’
I mean shopping in a mall is all great but the sheer happiness of going street shopping is on a whole other level. It’s fun, it’s colourful and an experience in itself. And this outfit is all about that. It’s carefree vibrancy.
To begin with I first started building it with the wrap top in mind. It’s crop, floral and has these amazing full arm sleeves with bell ends. And to balance of the bells I choose the flared palazzo pants. They add such a great volume on the lower body that it takes the outfit to a whole other level. For jewellery I chose dangling Afghani earring. I guess you could also add some Afghani bracelets and rings to this but I wanted to keep it rather subtle like I always do!
The one thing I would probably change in this outfit if I were to go street shopping is definitely the pointed heels. They aren’t quite designed for long walks. I added it to this outfit because I wanted to create the illusion of long limbs but please remember to replace it with a good pair of juthi if you are going on street shopping!
Finally I picked up a yellow bag to match the colour of yellow flowers in the top and that’s it the outfit came together like magic. How did you like this outfit? Do let me know. I will be back again until then stay healthy and stay stylish.
