Is fashion synonymous with big brands and pricy things? This is a question I have been pondering for the past few days! And I have concluded that fashion is fashion regardless of the source of the items we choose to wear! In fact, some of my most unique finds come from the streets of Bangalore instead of big brands. These are not only affordable but are also extremely cute!

I recently came across a similar brand that sells affordable fashion online. They reached out to me on Instagram for a potential collaboration! Although a bit hesitant at first, I decided to give it a try. I think as a digital creator, bringing attention to an already established brand is something everyone can do! But the real pleasure of being a fashion blogger is in helping bring notice to small brands that are homegrown. Which not only employ the locals but are also affordable to the general mass!

So with much enthusiasm, I asked them to send me a few options to choose from. Out of the five maxis they sent me, I decided to go with their beige floral maxi dress with the halter neck. This maxi according to me, is the perfect summer dress! It has tiny floral prints with a cute halter neck, which is perfect for the summer season.

So perfect that if I were going on a trip to goa or Bali, then this dress is probably the first thing I would pack! It is airy, light and perfect for summer vacation. To bring out the beauty of this dress, I decided to pair it with a green shoulder bag and pearl-detailed flat footwear that I found in a street store here. After thinking much about what to wear for jewellery, I decided it was best to wear hoop earrings so the halter neck stands out prominently. And I was right! The hoop earrings added the needed feminine touch to a modest outfit that is beautiful on its own!

So, that was about my little collaborative adventure with a homegrown brand that I came to love! I hope from this post you found some outfit inspiration for this year’s summer vacation. I’ll be back again with another adventure, until then stay stylish!
