I’m not sure if you feel the same, but the vibrant season, full of stunning flowers and colours, is inspiring me to embrace my feminine and girly side. At first, when I sat to write this complementary blog post on my latest outfit reel, I thought of writing my usual narrative about how I put this outfit together, but then I thought, why not share some tips on how to put a girly outfit together? So you can use these basic rules to look all Pinteresty this summer! So, here are seven tips on how to dress cute and girly.

1. What to wear?

If you want to dress cute and girly then you have to choose outfits that are mostly romantic is visuals. These are your cute ruffled crop tops, mini skirts, airy maxis and flowy summer dresses. When choosing outfits make sure to pick outfits made of soft and flowy fabrics that honour the feminine curves and make you look divine.

Your hair plays a major role in looking feminine. And the aesthetics in it lies in its health! So taking good care of your hair to keep them long, bouncy and thick can help maintain the overall aesthetics of your outfit. Although hair accessories are not a compulsion to look cute, we can’t ignore the fact that they do make us look girly! Some hair accessories like ribbons, pearl hairpins and claw clips can add a lot of refinement to an outfit.

5. About makeup

Looking pretty is a part of maintaining an outward aesthetic. And adding a bit of makeup can help us enhance those overall aesthetics. A bit of cheek tint, mascara and lipstick is pretty much the standard to minimal makeup. But the kind of colours you use must always sync well with the overall girly aesthetic. The last thing you want to do is over accessories!

And lastly carry bags that are subtle, neutral and of lighter colours to keep the overall look cohesive.
