It isn’t very often that I style my outfits bohemian! In fact, truth be told, I almost never wear bohemian things. My style has always been simple, minimalistic with a hint of class because that’s how I like it. But lately I have been trying to mix and match things to kind of experiment to see how different elements of an outfit come together to form a rhapsody! And it has been a pleasant surprise to see how elements of different culture can come together so well! One such outfit is the one I am sharing today which I like to call the Bohemian Rhapsody!

Before we dive deep into this look, let’s first talk about the saree I have draped in this post! This beautiful pink, colour spotted, sequin saree is from a small Instagram store (click here to visit) who have just got started. They reached out to me on Instagram and were kind enough to send me some options to choose from! But since I had never had or done a video on pre-draped saree before, I thought of going with this one! It must have taken me approximately 1 minute to drape this saree! Like it is that easy. So for people who are constantly in a hurry, pre-draped sarees are the absolute best! They are not only easy to wear but are also extremely easy to carry.

Although this saree comes with a blouse piece that is similar to the saree, creating a monochromatic outfit (although not really monochromatic), I thought of combining it with a mustard yellow crop top so I could play with the colours while breaking the monotony of the look. This creates a nice contrast that brings out the beauty of the saree a lot better given the multicoloured overlay of the saree.

You can also combine it with pink, blue or lavender to add a nice contrast just like I have done in this look!
Coming to jewellery, as I already mentioned earlier, I wanted to mix and match different cultural elements to try and see how these elements comes together! So I went through my small oxidised jewellery collection to find something that would suit this look. I picked up my most used oxidised earrings, rings and a bracelet that I recently brought from Bangalore. But instead of wearing the bracelet as a bracelet, I thought of turning it into an armlet to just spice things up a little bit! And just like that the entire look was made!

So, that was about this fusion look that is simple, slightly out there but in any case is doable and extremely practical that brings about different cultural elements to play a Bohemian Rhapsody! I will see you again with yet another look and another fashion story, until then Stay Healthy and Stay Stylish!
